We’re all about grace…

Grace United Methodist Church of Plainfield, Vermont is a community of people of all types and backgrounds that gather weekly to connect ourselves to God, one another, and the world in profound ways. As a congregation in the United Methodist tradition, we lift up God’s grace as supreme, believing that God’s embrace is open to all.

Our church was founded in 1801 by Reverend Nicholas Sneathen in 1801, and the current building was constructed in 1852.

Grace UMC is part of the Grace, Northfield, and Trinity (Montpelier) Charge, with our coordinating pastor serving all three congregations. We gather for worship every Sunday at noon.
